"We were there on Saturday night: got another table out there. First we had a good impression. But that changed during the evening. Our soup was cold, the waitress was totally overordered and forgot something. Complaints were just smiled away from her. We had to ask several times for a second waterglass. Wine came to the bar only after repeated demand and complaint. We waited for the main court for almost 90 minutes. The guests of the neighboring tables have also all waited for a very long time and were annoyed. Conclusion: the restaurant was another four years ago a sign for the meadow. Now it makes a nice impression but can be recommended for e food and drink at the moment absolutely not."

Grandma's kitchen is conveniently located and offers well maintained home cooking at reasonable prices. I can especially recommend the brunch on Sunday morning.

In my opinion, there is the best food in Freiburg. Grandma's kitchen is not necessarily centrally located, and the interior is not necessarily beautiful. Something to cook, but at least the restaurant does not mean the kitchen of Grandma for free? That's why I'm very happy that here is more value for good food than on unnecessary TamTam!

The whole world is on Grandma's kitchen. Then I'll go. The first thing I noticed is rough in this restaurant. It's a good sign. Full expectations. No one has addressed me or assigned a table. Then I slept somewhere. The operation didn't come forever. Then I had to wait for my drink forever. Someday the food came. It was nothing special. Totally fade. Good salt and pepper are on the table. Since it was very full here, it was also loud. I don't have to go there anymore.

"The reservation was okay. Unfortunately only a menu, not a-la-carte (Sylvester Evening), but was not announced. Starter and main course ordered. 1/2 hour later the appetizer came. Big plate, very little on it. Then 1 Sunde left nothing. Probably a lot to do on such an evening... When we asked, it turned out that our order was forgotten. We were then brought the two main courts 10mn later. It was good, but ate within 5mn. Then we cancelled the passport at this point. That cost us 86Euro and we went hungry and angry."

"We had a lovely evening in this restaurant, sitting outside in their Kartoffelgarten There are several vegan options, mostly potato-based. I had the sweet potato with veggies and a silken tofu and lemon dip. I enjoyed my meal a lot, although I must say that it was not very filling and for the price I had expected a larger portion and more sweet potato. My husband had the roast potatoes with nuts and the same dip, and he liked it a lot, although the meal was a bit small, too. Our highlight was the vegan crème brûlée that we had for dessert. The staff were very friendly, and as I said above, the outdoor seating is very pleasant."

"Came for dinner right at opening and the place filled quickly. We were seated right away. We had bruschetta, margherita pizza, and tiramisu. The bruschetta was flavorful and very tasty.
