But we weren 't able to go to the Onery Hog until a couple of weeks ago. Wow. First off, the wonderful wife and husband team who run the Onery Hog. My Mother is a not a big eater, even more so she 's not into red meat . But I do like Brisket and she decided she 'd have it too. Jo recommended that we could share a plate, that the portions would be large enough. So we went with the Brisket Plate. Now I am a Bar B Q aficianado (sic) . The food here is so delicious and the people are so sweet and friendly! I had the peach ale habanero sausages and they are so good! They have a hint of sweetness and also are a little spicy. My husband had the cholla bowl and the cornbread is so good!Food: 5/5

Normally I pass through Wickenburg when driving to Nevada, but our family decided to stop and visit Wickenburg for the first time to spend the day. Onery was an absolute joy! A special thanks to the owners Dan and Jo for being so kind and helpful when we came in. This BBQ is literally some of the best I have ever had and no they didn't pay me to write this. ?? We will be back without question. I'd absolutely encourage Arizona locals as well as those passing through to stop in for a bite to eat. It's 100% worth it.

Another great mom and pop place in Wickenburg. My compliments to the chef! The meat isn't over seasoned and smoked perfectly. The plates can be expensive but 2 people can easily share one plate. In fact we let them know we were sharing and they split the plate for us. The sides were delicious (mac and cheese, potato salad) we also had the jalapeno cornbread which was very delicious as well. The decor here was also very cozy and welcoming. Almost like going to a grandparents home. Great place, I highly recommend going.
