"I tried to find a place that was child-friendly and big enough to accommodate the birthday party we threw for my mother-in-law, and Outpost was perfect. The staff was very sweet and helpful. The food was delicious. The best bread sticks I've ever had. I know where to go next time I want pizza and bread sticks, OUTPOST PIZZA in the John Day!!!! They sell some very cute characters, jewelry, wallets, house decoration and other different items that make for great gifts."

Great service with a smile. Built in the restaurant is Little Boutique clothing store with stylish clothing. This place has hometown cooking and large portions. Just what is expected in John Day. Great local stop .

It was very frustrating that there was no changing table in the toilet room. Outpost gives a very family-friendly mood and as a long-term local with a new baby, I would like to see an installed one. But everything else was great!
