Patrick Henry's Waterfront Tavern

My sister, BIL and I had a delightful meal. Started with tasty lemon drops followed by outstanding General Tso's cauliflower bites (just spicy enough without bringing tears). We shared a large wedge salad made with romaine (which we frequently use at home) and two pizzas, one was sausage and broccoli Rabe with chunks of ricotta (YUM) and the other Ultaroni with drizzled hot honey delish! Total win and will be back.

The restaurant is appointed very nicely. It is very clean and crisp. It is located right on the river so you can sit inside or outside with an great view. The service was excellent. There were four of us for lunch and we all ordered something different as it was out first time and wanted to try as many different entrees as possible. My nephew had a pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. My sister had the crispy chicken sandwich and thought it was very good. The fries were excellent. My brother in law had the smash burger. He thought it was very good. He also thought the fries were delicious. I had the garlic Mac and cheese. It was average. All the food was served quickly and hot.

I finally had the opportunity to try Patrick Henry's tonight; I'm sorry I waited so long! I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, which came with thick cut seasoned fries. Everything about the sandwich was excellent. It was a huge thigh, cooked to perfection with a light yet crispy coating. It was served on a soft, flavorful, delicious bun. I couldn't even tell you what kind of sauce was on the sandwich, but it was really good. All the flavors really worked together. The thick cut seasoned fried were really good also.
