"Good food and good service. The waitress was attentive and the food was immediately brought out. Beautiful selection of beer on tap, but many IPAs at that time, had a flight and the waitress gave us samples before commiting. Husband liked Devil's backbone best.. The falafel pita was amazing, best I had! Falafel was crispy on the outside, Pita was soft, and the dressing was delicious. My husband had crabs filled rock fish that his favorite food was all weekend, which says a lot. He also had the crab soup that was delicious. Lovely culinary experience!"

Pretty good food and good service. But the waitress fell a lemon slice on her tray and put it back on the drink after she had served it.

That was a great surprise. We stayed at the Comfort Inn on the street and asked for a recommendation. I had a Cajun chicken pasta dish that was wonderful. Linda had some great fish and chips. But the best part was a lemon beard pudding that was from this world. The service was fantastic. We'll definitely be back when we're back in the area!

We just stopped here on the way elsewhere, but I'm so glad we did. The steak here was simply with meals I had in 5 star restaurants in downtown Charleston. It was slightly seasoned so that the diner could enjoy the beef and the effort that went into preparation. The mussels were also great and this comes from people who are very used in freshly caught and prepared seafood. My daughter had the Cajun chicken pasta, which was also very tasty. Honestly, if you live nearby, I don't understand how you don't visit Pax weekly.
