Here's what happened to me when I visited Pickles to brunch today (i.e. 2/1/2014). I went to this restorer on Saturday at 11:30. I was very hungry. I sat in a place. Server came and gave me the menu. He did not turn up to 10 minutes, so I called him and ordered “Uttapam” and tea, I told him that he served me tea after uttapam. Without warning me that uttapam takes 30 minutes to prepare that he went in and gave the order. I was in the impression that I got uttapam in 5 or 10 minutes. In my opinion, the restaurant has a cozy, home-like feel. The employees remember their regulars, and the colorful walls and artwork make you feel welcomed every time you visit. It's located in City Plaza, where there is plenty of parking available; however, it can be difficult to find a spot during peak hours, such as lunch and dinner. Keep in mind that Pickles is not the only restaurant in City Plaza, which contributes to the crowded parking situation. I recommend arriving about 10 minutes before you're hungry to give yourself time to find parking. Just a heads-up: the restaurant is closed from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
