Pirates Cove Restaurant And Dock Bar

Only the second time back and the food is really good. Service is spot on. They can get crowded we arrived on a Friday evening at 6pm were seated within 15 minutes and had our food on the table all within an hour total time. We had the Oyster Rockefeller and the crab ball appetizers and they were great. My dinner was a Red Snapper with white rice and fresh mixed veggies. The wife had the chicken Marsala with roasted potatoes and fresh mixed veggies. Key lime pie and sopapillas rounded out the desserts. The bill came to 106 and some change for two. Would recommend for sure. And the views really couldn't get much better with the sun setting on our backs.

A step back in time that is well worth it! This was our favorite place when we lived in the area 25 years ago. So, we returned for a nostalgic visit yesterday, July 20, and met bar tender Chase who was just delightful. We had our favorite Cream of Crab soup, and it was even better than we remembered a lot of great crab with a little cream stirred in and sherry on the side. Amazing! Had the crab cakes and they we equally amazing. Chase recommended a very nice white wine which was perfect for a hot day. And the atmosphere what a view of the sailboat marina! We could have stayed all afternoon had our schedule permitted it. The menu looks to be much as we remembered it, so we will return much so...

The Pirates Cove Restaurant had a pleasant experience today. We were 30 years back to our first date in Panama City, Panama in a small restaurant on the water called Jimmy's just teleported by the taste of the shells here at Pirates Cove. The shells here have the perfect balance of wine, garlic and only a touch of tomatoes, just super. Megan our server was excellent, attentive and helpful. Vince the manager was also great and thank Sir for the friendly gift. Our first experience here and it was perfect. We also had her Pirates Cove beer and was also delicious.
