"when we were on the way home, we had a stop in laughter. the hotel owner was so kind to call this restaurant that was ready to serve us pizza on Sunday night. the owner welcomed us very friendly and served us very well. the quality of the pizza was top although we have ordered all different pizzas. for example, the calzone braccio di ferro, a calzone pizza with spinat and cheese, was delicious. also the canneloni was very good. the primitivo went very well together with the food. the vintage grappa was the right way to finish the meal."

we went to the restaurant on Sunday night. we were on the way to Austria from Great Britain and stayed at night in merklingen. the food was very good and the service attentive. we needed a lot to cool with a few beers and were not rushed, even though we were the only humans. I can certainly recommend this restaurant and hope to go back to Austria on the next car ride.
