"My family and I went here for a birthday dinner recently and received the worst service. The restaurant was near empty but we waited about 30 minutes before water was brought over. Then we're told they only have 2 kinds of soda that night. No juice. Nothing. The service was so slow. We were glad the food was good but the service really killed the experience for us. Not sure if any of us will be back."

It was okay. Crab cake appertizer was pretty good. Shrimp and scallop pasta was okay. The creamy tomato sauce was the best part of the dish.

The food was delicious. Small but excellent wine list, points for homemade bread. Cosy neighborhood atmosphere. As mentioned, decoration is kind of dated, but service is friendly and you can say that they put their hearts in the food. Beautiful old-fashioned family type of place.

First time dining here after driving by for years and I'll definitely be back! Food was very authentic and fresh. Some of the best pasta I've ever eaten. Great service and had a very welcoming and homey environment- fireplace was a nice bonus on a cold winter evening. Would choose this place over the North End any day.
