"Last night in Kauai we traveled a short way from our accommodation to visit postcards restaurant, and we are so glad that we did. My wife and I came a little before they opened and found that they were booked for the evening (and not yet completely open). Jeff, the bartender told us if we could stay back in 30 minutes when the Rheus opened, he could probably get us to the bar. He did it, and the service (from welcoming to leaving after the incredible meal) was Top Notch. Jeff is well informed about food, wine and life. Beautiful charming atmosphere to enjoy a beautiful but casual meal in Hanalei. Best vintage mai tai, which is not too sweet, great old fashion, Ahi Tuna and Wagyu beef. Top it off with a great wine selection and dessert!

From the beginning to the end this was a fabulous meal. We celebrated a marriage and ignorantly also a baby announcement! and wanted a nice sit-down option for post-nuptials. The cocktails were lovely, and the whole food was phenomenal. We had the market fish blue marlin, wagyu beef, ahi tuna, and tofu. All dishes were cooked for perfection and also nicely plated. Not to mention the vegan chocolate cake and the cheese cake. Thanks for helping us celebrate two great events with our family! Very recommended!

Best raised food in the city! Service was good. We had a big party and we had to sit at two separate tables, but the place is small, so understandable. They were from the wagyu coulotte and the menu is small, so was disappointing. Our appetizer didn't come out until entrées was served, so the timing and pace could have been better. However, the food was excellent and beautifully presented. ordered the rag salad with soba noodles and the lamb frame. Both were incredible. Had the ice cake, which was a good way to finish the meal. Overall best food on the northern shore and highly recommended! Reserve!
