"This was a great place for breakfast. I really like the restaurants like this where you order at the front counter and then sit down to eat. I ordered the chicken honey biscuit with a side of butter grits. The fried chicken was crispy and good. The biscuit was tasty. I'm not a fan of grits but these were pretty tasty. Although my motto is everything is better with hot sauce. So, if there would have been a bottle of hot sauce on the table, for sure I would have put some on and expect the grits may have been great. The atmosphere was really nice, open, and airy."

This place serves southern food like no other. I love the lunch specials, great blue plate place. Friendly people and great service. I will be back here soon.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Jackson area for a blue plate special. I love their breakfast (available all day) and their blue plate chicken and dumplings. You really can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend getting the biscuit (available all day too) instead of the roll or corn bread. You can also order some of their famous cakes as a dessert or to-go. They have very friendly service.
