"What a fun place! The atmosphere is a really fun saloon with live music and the staff dressed like the wild west from the movies. I had the Red Dog Red to drink and although not much of a beer drinker, really enjoyed it. I had a burger (BBQ, bacon, fried onions) that was delicious and my girlfriends loved the chicken sandwich and salmon Caesar wrap as well as their Glacier Margaritas. The saloon was crowded and loud (multiple cruise ships in today (4-5 of them). Definitely not a place for an intimate meal, but if you want a lively place for good food, you need to go!"

Fun! Historic, and definitely make sure your visit includes a Duck Fart. Ignore the name and try it. Rich, creamy and smooth shot. You'll be glad you did.

five stars for the service and obviously fantastic support for police, firefighter! good cash and decent tap choice. alaskan cider is available. eating is decent, but not as good as the vibe or service. great choice for a Juneau drink or bar food menu!

Juneau's original tourist trap! Has a long pre-statehood history, dating back to the early mining days of Alaska, but still comes off as touristy, not historical. That being said, it is still a fun stop, open late and right off the cruise docks, for a cold beer and a fun crowd (overwhelmingly tourists). Huge mercantile attached for all of your Red Dog souvenirs.
