"This is the perfect place for families to stay near Phoenix. It's about a 15 minute drive to University of Phoenix Stadium and abour a 20-30 minute drive to Phoenix. The hotel is spectacular and the staff are so accomodating. The pool is great for all ages with 2 giant slides and the food was delicious. They have Disney characters visit on Saturdays during their breakfast buffet which was a treat for our little one. This is a historic hotel and you can see it from all the photos of the hotel when it was open in the 1920's. It's really cool to stay someplace so historic. We'll definitely stay again when we visit AZ. Tip: The Wildlife World Zoo nearby is a great place to take the family and f...

Fantastic place. Beautiful golf course, amazing pools, gorgeous grounds, lovely suites, fabulous dining, and first class attention from the staff. Will be back soon!

My lovely wife took me to the Wigwam for my birthday. Spent the night in a great room after a day of golf and afternoon at the pool. In the evening we had dinner at Litchfileds Our server, Deon wa absolutely the best server we have ever had. This young man is working his way through college for a Business Administration degree. It was a pleasure having him as our server. Chef Jason made the best filet I have ever had. Cooked over the pecan wood fire added a nice smoked flavor. My wife had the Diver Scallops, they were fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want great food, great service, and a nice atmosphere.

Wonderful place to stay for locals and visitors alike. Plan your next staycation or vacation here and you will not regret it. No disappointments here, the staff truly caters to you, their number one customers. I have been here at least a dozen times as a local over the past two years. I've never been dissatisfied. I also seldom give above three stars when reviewing places I've dined at, stayed, or both, mainly because most places forget they are in the hospitality, customer service industry just for that very reason. To make the customers experience unforgettable, for the proper reasons, not because the experience was less than, or worse yet, horrible. That will never be the case at The Wigw...

"Incredible meals had here for business and pleasure over several days. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and the open grill where you can see the chefs doing their thing. I had the ribeye twice, once with blue cheese butter, and once with chimichurri both were fantastic. Any side you order will be great too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"A true diner experience, came in on a Saturday and it was pretty busy but still only a 15 minute wait. Parking can get a little tight in the morning. I had the Hobo Joe Omelet and my wife had a regular breakfast. If you like crispy hashbrowns you will have to request it so. The pancakes were by far my favorite, loaded with flavor and fluffy texture. The ham, bacon and sausage were all pretty good. Definitely enjoyed the portion sizes as we were able to share some of our meal with our toddlers. The coffee and food was good but not extraordinary. Again, the portion sizes are what is the key point here. I recommend this spot if you're in the need of a quick breakfast that is above the quality that IHOP or Denny's provides."

"I just recently moved here and have not had sushi yet and was craving for some good food. I read a lot of different yelp reviews for sushi spots and found this place to be one of the better spots closets to me based on reviews. I ordered the orange chicken bento box along with the Las Vegas roll. I was kind of hesitant on ordering the orange chicken but glad I did because it was good! The food was really delicious, I will definitely be back for more."

"Great food! Pizza is the best... thin crust or deep dish. The sausage pizza is SCRUMPTIOUS! Hot dogs and fries are also excellent for lunch. Love your fries... love the Vienna Beef Dogs Baby! Regarding some less than stellar reviews I read... I understand your pain. So happy to have Rosatis close to us and waited with great anticipation to open it. My first pizza was excellent! In Chicago, I'm very familiar with a good pizza against a bad pizza... Chicago style. The second and third pizzas were cooked. And the staff was a little confused about almost everything. But I've brought everything back to growing pain. In recent weeks, I have seen and cost significantly improved food. The last 3 pizzas were perfect (e.g. cheese, sausage and black olives... thin crust). No more pizza. The wings were and remain fleshy, juicy and hot when served. Antipasto salad is excellent! And as I said, the Viennese beef dogs and fries are tremendous. I didn't have one, but my buddy, who's from New Jersey, told me he ate a meatball sandwich that was the best he ever had. Lower line... I think they have their feet under them now. And if simething is not right, just tell them. They'll bend back to make it right. In addition... it is a wonderful atmosphere with lots of sports on many TVs. The bar is SWEET. I'm looking forward to eating out as a trap. If you're not here, try. If you were disappointed, try again. So glad they're in Avondale!"
