"My husband and I were on a road trip and desperate for a delicious dinner! We had some mediocre meals in a row and were looking for a dinner. We are SO GLAD we chose this restaurant! We came here on Wednesday night and were one of the only tables there. It is a beautiful restaurant with magnificent views, and we decided to sit on the terrace. Das Essen kam schnell und war super lecker! Preis und Leistungen stehen im Einklang. Die Aussicht ist genial! Bei gutem Wetter guter Aussicht ein super Essen genossen.

We were recommended to this restaurant by a local and it was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. And the view of the city was great.

After a 30-minute rise of Bad Ems on the hottest day of the year, I was looking forward to a great view, tea and cake and was not disappointed. Not sure how the main meals are, but the welcome was good and the location is excellent.

"We had tried to book ourselves into other restaurants on a Saturday night in late November and after tries elsewhere this restaurant was able to accomodate us with minutes' notice. Whilst we were grateful at the time it does say it all really....The interior was an old style German pub but without any atmosphere. The staff were pleasant without being friendly. The menu is way too large to enable fresh cooking of the dishes so we opted for the relative safety of pizzas . Which were ok. A simply forgettable experience to be honest because nothing stood out as being particularly good, just average dining."

"We, a family of three with a 5 year old girl enjoyed a dinner at this fabulous Italian restaurant. Service was excellent, the restaurant was full but we managed to get a table thanks to other guests finishing up their coffee. We had the most excellent pasta, my wife enjoyed the Ravioloni an I the Bauletti both exquisite! Our daughter had a pizza, Margherita and that was also very tasty. Wine menu Italian, we had a bottle of white wine. Bill total was 71€ which we were felt was good value for the money. We will definitely come back and recommend this authentic restaurant any day of the week"

"This was a recommendation from a local, however we do not recommend coming here. There was a language barrier as we expected but our order was very clear (we even had a German speaker in our group that helped out). The order was messed up not once, but several times- forgotten drink order, then the wrong drink was brought, and then my main course was completely forgotten. When my main course (a caprese salad) was completely forgotten I asked our waiter. After some time it still was not being brought, so I asked once more. A woman who I assume to be the manager or owner came over and told me that I had already asked and that I had ordered it late. She was completely wrong as I ordered it along with everyone else in my group. Ultimately it was brought after my group was almost finished with their meal. While the food is fairly good, the service and management is horrendous. To me, service is everything and this experience was very disappointing."

"carved, both were very delicious. on the scavenger mozzarella was unfortunately forgotten the ham. the pommes were not long enough in the frituse. beilagensalat was ok, salatsoße (yoghurt) was unfortunately not convincing."
