"The Ratskeller is in Altenburg the location where you go when you want to eat something more upscale. The historical vaults alone give the restaurant a great flair, and it is very tastefully decorated. It is cooked regionally and internationally, especially for fish lovers: there are regularly so-called fish foods, with several courses. I've never been there myself, but my family swears on it and always takes this appointment. Unfortunately, there are also points for the staff. I don't want to use the word unfriendly, maybe rather stressed..."

"Edles restaurant with appealing decor, but not set up. On the contrary: relaxed atmosphere for feeling well. Operation very competent and friendly. No longer waiting times, the acceptance of the order as well as the servicing always promptly. The service is incredibly attentive, so I don't know how to do it better. The food was arranged appealingly and could convince tastefully. 5 fat stars for this great experience including views of the castle Altenburg."

"the restaurant is located in a former hat factory (real, true) opposite to the distances of a lake near the bridge that leads to the island. the interiors reflect a somewhat dated Italian restaurant. the service was excellent friendly and very attentive. after we. our order has been abandoned, we were served a free aperitif style drink and a free small dish (in our case a sweet and egg cherrine). my starter was a tomato soup. it was well prepared and tasty, although an additional part of the whipped cream appeared in a fried teig in the bowl easily dated. the net was generous in portion size. I had fed a classic saltimbocca nicely and tenderly. Although the ham had been beautiful and crispy, he was drowned in the sosse. the salmon was broken and deep fried, but it was delicious as anything else on the table. overall it felt like a timepiece in the past with real silver cutlery, correct alignment and the respective service. the interiors showed that this was on the way down. Although the menu appeared a little dated and showed a tendency to deep frying, eating at the end was beautiful and tasty."

"A wonderful birthday party in the scenery will be remembered for a long time. The owner and her team have implemented everything perfectly and as desired. The great ambience, the tasteful decoration, the super service, the relaxed friendly type of staff and the excellent food, have thrilled us and all our guests, as well as let the stay enjoy. "Were today a guest at Pizza Nudelhaus in Altenburg. We've been there for the first time, and it'll probably be the last time. Even if you have created some Italian flair, it's culinary far from it. The “classic” pizzas are simply fat and overloaded with cheese (at our child there was also an extremely long hair in the cheese. But even worse was my Carbonara, yes it is homemade sauce in the card but cream, cooking ham and then a fat layer of this bag cheese on top? No thanks and that's not even worth the name. Furthermore, we had to wait forever, a pizza that is properly prepared (pizzateig in the bale box etc. with appropriate oven, does not take 10 minutes. The 2nd star is for the overwhelmed operation (not because so much was going on, but you noticed that it somehow didn't run and because you get fed up (on the basis of the good reviews you seem to like it in Altenburg?! ."
