"I am really big in Asian foods so I like to try all the different places around the Akron area and I must say I love this place. They serve Japanese and Chinese dishes (which are both very well executed). I haven't tried the sushi rolls yet, but every time I get in, they look amazing and there is no fishy smell in the restaurant. Good size portions for an amazing price and the quality of food is there. Would highly recommend."

"I took my guys for an adventure yesterday we wandered through some of my old stomping grounds (Kent) got some Swensons and then went back to the park to eat. Boys are not big Cheeseburg fans, but they said they had the best grilled cheese ever, except for fathers of course! Dad had a Galley boy and a double with cheese and as always not disappointed. I declare to my children that Swensons has been there since 1934 and that I am there since I was high school and the Stow Location was built. Thanks to Swensons for being there forever and thanks to Kent and the parks and for the care of our history attractions. Great day!"

"we have always loved ray’s place. we've been there for years until we're gone. it was so great to be back there for the 70th birthday party of our father. he also visits ray’s place with his kumpels for wings. So it seemed fitting that we would have his party here. all management was incredible to help my sister plan for eating for the event. they allowed us to take over the upper floor for our party on Saturday. everything was well prepared! it was the perfect facility for our 40 guests. the appetizers were delicious and plentiful. my favorites, when the dinner came, was the lemon chicken. it was perfect! the manager checked and made a nice handover when the new manager took over during a shift. extremely professional and smiles everywhere. I heard that our event was one of the first ones in one, and they were absolutely wonderful. they should do it more often. it is a perfect space, good eating, 2 pool table, music, etc. many thanks to, ray’s space for a great memory of the 70th vater of our vater! call the manager and associates with names...Charlie, pat and kayla! the 2 barkeepers were also great."

"This place was an experience. I took my daughter on a college visit at Kent State, and when I told a friend that we were going to be in Kent they said You HAVE to eat at Mike's Place So we headed there for lunch after her campus tour.When we pulled into the parking lot, we weren't sure where to look. Eclectic doesn't even begin to describe the exterior. We parked and went in. The hostess was very friendly. She grabbed two menus and said follow me and took off. We lost her. There are twists and turns everywhere, around the very unique seating areas. We were seated at a table in it's own little alcove that consisted of a huge polished slab of live-edge tree with a bench on one side and two enormous thrones at either end. Broadswords and family crests on the wall, and a half scale suit of armor standing guard next to the table.I had to idea what to expect when I opened the menu, but I wasn't prepared for the dozens upon dozens of choices in front of me. I'm fairly confident that anything I could have wanted, they offered on the menu. All day breakfast, lunch, and dinner and everything in between. I quickly became overwhelmed and put it down and picked up the lunch specials menu. I ordered the lunch-sized Reuben and fries (if that monster was the lunch size, I'd love to see the full size), and my daughter ordered the chicken po' boy, which was roughly the size of a human baby.Food was delicious. Prices were great. Food came out fast and hot. We entertained ourselves by reading the menu and placemats while we waited. Be sure to check them out. Very good experience. Will definitely be a staple for our family visits if my daughter ends up at KSU."

"This was our first time here since new ownership has been in place and we are so happy to have discovered it! Our food was excellent I had twin filets cooked to perfection and my husband had the Walleye. We enjoyed soup and salad as well and everything was top notch! I believe our server's name was Cole but my memory isn't always what it used to be! At any rate, he was personable and attentive and had some great menu suggestions. The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet dinner. I can't wait to see the place in the summer with the patio overlooking the lake. We highly recommend it and have already told several friends."
