"Having read good reviews about Riva Fish and Wine we arrived at the restaurant with great excitement and cravings for some excellent seafood. The waiter warmly welcomed us into the modern and nicely looking restaurant. The atmosphere was good and the place looked neat and clean. Hence, we felt comfortable ordering different plates to share, including wine recommended by the waiter. However, the food turned out to be a big disappointment. The home made bread was extremely dry, the potato chips was soft, the Caponata lacked texture and tasted like regular Sweet and Sour Sauce, our plate of fried fish was over cooked, the intestines had not been removed from the back of the fried shrimps (!!!)...

Excellent creative cooking, freshest food and fantastic Sicilian wines. This is our top recommendation for Mitte - you can experience the passion of the owners and the skills of the kitchen. Only a word : the best... italian espresso coffee , Italian restaurant in Berlin , Italian hospitality. The fish is really fresh , arriving everyday from Sicily and the cuisine is excellent as if you stayed in Sicily. Furthermore the kindness of the owner and the passion he put in hosting you , will make you amazingly impressed. I hope to see you again as soon as
