We checked out everything the...had before making a selection. I decide to go with the fried fish special it looked good but when I was about to pay I notice a big mouse running from under the fryer. That made question the hygiene of this place. It might have been a coincidence but I couldn’t eat there."

Wonderfully friendly and animated staff. Great menu of German food and large portions. We didn’t order the right wine for our tastes but the list was good and well priced. Highly recommend this place.

I have been coming to this place for years. It has been featured in a few travel shows (including No Reservations by the late Tony Bourdain) and thus has become a tourist attraction. Over time, the cooked food quality has certainly declined. Now, I only...purchase fresh fish or smoked fish from their seafood counter.
