"Ambiance was decent and wait staff was good. Other than that nothing else I can say positively bout this placeOur meals were luke warm, blend and some of the sides had no taste to them whatsoever. While they have a bar and there own cocktails if you ask for something not on the menu, u probably wont get it. And yes, unfortunately even the cocktail drinks we did order tasted horrible. Bad bar staff..On top of all this, it took them almost an hour for them to bring our food out. Two kids meals, a chicken plate and crab cakes. I was very upset to say the least.Stay away. Go to Perry's Steakhouse next door. Exceptional food, service and bar area."

we enjoyed our dinner tonight. we ordered several appetizers and entrees, which we have cleaned very easily and with joy. our waitress was jenny.

very cool! I love small city restaurants, especially when eating is unique and good! I just had a glass of wine and a rollatini? it was fried thinly.

rustico was one of my favorite spots for a solid, consistent Italian meal. in the run of time they remained in the position to be the best Italian on the island.

"Popped into Carmines for a quick light lunch today. Walked up to the front and observed the pizza's in the glass case and ordered my slice. "What a gem! We had a late reservation on Easter Sunday night and I wasn 't expecting an A team effort but was thrilled with the service; the food was fresh, creative and wonderfully tasty. The restaurant itself is cozy and the hostess offered us a booth or table which I always appreciate. I chose Pappardelle allo Zafferano a pappardelle pasta with shrimp, sea scallops and lump crab in a saffron cream sauce something I had never seen before. My companion enjoyed the Veal Limoncello again an old favorite with a new twist. Our only complaint was we weren 't served bread to wipe the plates clean! There are many other choices calling our name we will be back! Our waiter was good, but when I pointed out we were given 2 different menus from the hostess and he confirmed one was the old menu, I suggested he take out the old page and throw it away rather sticking it back in the stand for the same problem to repeat another time. He cheerfully said no problem, sure sure... and then we watched him return both menus to the hostess stand for the next unsuspecting customer. On the other hand, I watched a busboy, a 17 year old Ryan, carefully eye the table linens as he reset, smoothing every wrinkle, squatting down to eyeball the edge of the cloths, adjusting until they were even. He handled the silverware by handles only and inspected every table as he finished. He definitely went into the I would hire him category! Clearly the restaurant is hiring and training well. Can 't wait to go back for an outside table along this cute street and try one of the many specialty cocktails and pizza... or salad... or paninis..."

"We ordered fried calamari and it tasted like cardboard! We then ordered eggplant parmigiana which took more than an hour to to get. When I asked the server why our order took so long, she condescending said it was made to order. The couple in front of us came in long after we did and they had their food in a timely manner! If you want poor service and stingy food be my guest, because that’s exactly what you will get!!! Food: 1"
