"I don't understand why people complain about this Safeway. It's probably one of the best in Santa Cruz County. The first reason is that this store is a popular hangout among locals in the area. Whenever I come here, there are always friendly residents willing to strike up a conversation. The staff, including managers, are extremely friendly and always willing to chat about anything. Scott's Tal Safeway is a great option in the area for a safe dining experience. The service is friendly and efficient, and you typically won't have to wait long. The store is tidy and well-organized, unlike the nearby Safeway.

Terrible inventory and always from stock on key items I buy.... I always imagine a waste of time... That's the second worst safeway I've ever been to #1 Morrissey Blvd Safeway. Don't waste your time coming here.... Deli counter is with miserable untrained people and the checkout act like zombies.... Avoid!
