"We were craving some pizza while on vacation. We found THE PIZZA! Located a few miles from the place we were staying, and settled in a very nice, cozy shopping center. We sat outside in the covered patio. The weather was bad, but the enclosure made it comfortable. The inside of the place was super pizzaria looking. Service was great. The patio is a bit tight but we made it all work. The pizza was delicious. Thin and tasty. The crust was the right amount of chew. I just had an hour-old left over piece and it was everything you want in left over pizza action. Very impressed and will return next time I visit SSI as I have heard the cool kids say."

Sal's has some of the best pizza I've ever had! Always delicious and great service. A must when in St Simons!

I haven't eaten here in years, so this review is fairly irrelevant, but I wanted to mention that the times that I did eat here, the food was always good. The service was decent, and because Sal was our friend, he made it fun with a cool sing-along atmosphere and fun personable chats. Obviously it sucks that he's no longer with us as of August last year, but I wanted to leave a review mentioning how he was a cool guy, with a good restaurant, when I ate there some years back.

We waited about 30 minutes to get a table. The place was definitely crowded for a weekday. Service was good. Restroom was clean. I got the cheese bread sticks as an appetizer. It was only $6 but even at that price I think it wasn't worth it. It looked like left over bread with a white cheese square was dropped on it and microwaved. It wasn't bad but it wasn't worth it when we ordered multiple pizzas. Pizza was good. The Neopolotana was good. It was simple and not overly filling. I think for a fancy pizza place it's worth trying.
