"The Salt and Pepper Pub on North Market Street in Nanticoke is an establishment that serves very good bar food, from sandwiches to burgers to wings...and a lot more. We arrived for our 6:30 p.m. reservation and sat out on the patio. There was only one other table occupied the entire visit. This really wasn't a good idea, however, since the outdoor dining area is next to a busy street, and the sound of the traffic at times drowned out the conversation. We probably could've sat indoors, since the restaurant was practically empty, but the weather was too pleasant to pass up. For an appetizer, I ordered a plate of 5 deep-fried braised beef short rib pierogi's. I would recommend the steamed vers...

Not a great experience this time! Chicken was rubbery, rice was hard and not cooked. Dont think we will return! Told the waitress about the uncooked rice but didnt seem to matter! Was not offered a replacement and was still charged for it! This place went downhill!

Went for dinner with my spouse about two weeks ago and wouldn’t go back again. The staff were very nice and the space has good ambiance but the wait and quality of food was unacceptable. Our appetizer was great but we waited another 45 minutes for our entrees and when mine arrived it looked and tasted basically inedible. My sandwich was cut in half and looked like it had been cooked 20 minutes before and then reheated. The bun was totally soggy and saturated on the bottom. The waitress noticed I hadn’t eaten much and asked if there was a problem and I told her why I was unhappy with it. She returned with an excuse from the cook that the coleslaw made the sandwich soggy but it didn’t have any...
