"Had the Asparagus special. Served with pork schnitzel, boiled potatoes, scramble eggs, almond butter, and hollandaise sauce. The meal started with a asparagus cream soup. A nice start that was very well matched to the baguette. The meal was eccentric. The traditional white asparagus and hollandaise sauce was done well. Large fat asparagus cooked perfectly and the scratch made hollandaise sauce was so good. Took the hollandaise sauce to the potatoes and it was just that much better."

We went here to drink a drink, and now I wish we were for food when we went somewhere else, that was terrible! The staff was really friendly and it has a great, traditional atmosphere.

Old hotel and restaurant very pretty and authentic. The food was really, really good and fresh, and again very authentically German. Good service and friendly(for Germany) enough. A hidden gem...
