Schmidt's House Of Jambalaya

The fish chips was fantastic. the salad however was bagged with the hot food and itself was very warm and unedible when I got it.

Crawdad fritters were amazing. We also got kids fish and chips and the Jambalaya. Everything was delivered hot. Only gave 4 stars because Portions were a little small for the price. Other than that no complaints. I will definitely order again.

Schmidt 's was absolutely delicious! We 'd only eaten there once before moving out to Hiouchi and the distance became inconvenient. Decided to DoorDash it today on a whim and we were not disappointed. I was concerned the food would be cold and soggy by the time it got all the way out here but it retained its heat and freshness really well. The blackened catfish Po ' Boy was awesome. I used to live in the South and this was one of the most authentic po ' boys I 've had since moving out west. The Boudin Balls were light and airy, and The Shrimp Skewers had great flavor. The only knock against Schmidt 's was the Chicken Nugget Basket. The fries were fine but the nuggets were dried out and tough...
