"Over the last year or so the food has declined immensely. I decided to go back after more than 6 months and give it a try for Oktoberfest. The specials didn 't look appealing to me but I wanted a snack. I got the Fried Scout and Scholar basket and it was pathetic. When I think of Pickled Banana Peppers Onion Pickles Jalapenos, I expect them to be a portion that is visible, but they were very tiny pieces of sliced items, so small-like the size smaller than a dime were the jalapeños! Interesting restaurant in Bardstown. While there was no pulled pork upon our arrival the buttermilk fried chicken was excellent, light and tasty. The lack of paper menus was disappointing, and navigating the digital menu was tedious. The need to click to expand to learn more, to see the scholar choices, was bizarre on a digital menu. Lack of pictures of the dishes was disappointing. Didn't sit out on the enticing terrace as it was raining. Beer selection was varied but not to many taste.
