"Tasty, Good-looking Food at High Price Point. We first went into Selland's a few weeks back on a Saturday but didn't stay as the place was packed and people w/o food were holding tables while others in their party were ordering. If they remain busy they better address this as we were not the only people who left. Last weekend my wife and I dropped in to order food to go. We had a great brisket of beef but at $15 (medium size), the portion size was disappointing. Their Curry Chicken Salad was absolutely top-notch, the best I've had. Also good was a broccoli salad, beets and a Shrimp Louie. All the sides dishes were small sized and the Louie a normal entree size. All together the bill came......

excellent lunch and dessert selection family-friendly clean superb atmosphere with delicious menu points and the wine is also great.

This weekend my husband and I attended the soft opening for Selland's Market Cafe. Selland Family Restaurants is a family owned business. They've specialized in farm-to-table meals for more than 20 years. My husband and I have eaten a few times at The Kitchen, a gourmet demonstration meal that is an experience unlike any other

Yes, I've been in the East Sacramento location on occasion, but I never bought anything and sat down to eat it. My first meal at a Market Cafe ended up being the brand new location in El Dorado Hills , which opens tomorrow, January 30th.
