"Loved this place! Came highly recommended from a friend and we were not disappointed. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. We got the firecracker shrimp and fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and both were excellent. I ordered the Island Bowl (side note: the actual menu was slightly different than the ones we found on Yelp/their website) with shrimp. The bowl was OK, it had nice flavor but could have used a little more sauce. Next time I'll order the shrimp and grits (my brother got that and it was AWESOME) or the fish/shrimp tacos looked amazing as well. It was a big hit with our family and we will be going back if we ever head to OKI again!"

Amazing all around the board!!! Our waitress was unbelievable, we never had to wait for anything even our drinks and refills. It was such a cozy atmosphere and I was very comfortable which nowadays is not easy to find ?. I'm kind of a picky eater and everything was delicious!! The only thing they are missing is Hush puppies as they are very hard to find now. Would go there every time we go out to eat and they have a menu that's good for Everyone!!! Thank You and we will definitely be back ??

Some of the best cooked food I had in a while from a restaurant. I recommend the blackened salmon. And the salad that's under it is GOOD. The shrimp paste is tasty but if you want something good go with the salmon. Beers are at a great price lowest was 4 for a corona. (Big selection of beer) I also recommend the blueberry bread pudding. Didn't even need extra sauce. the only thing it was missing is some vanilla ice cream or butter pecan. And let me tell you if you think you were going to wait for your food nope because the food comes out fast.

Absolutely fantastic fish tacos!! Everything my party ordered (fish tacos, flounder sandwich, and island bowl) was top quality and packed full of flavor. I highly recommend the fort fisher and shrimp tacos. Don?t even get me started on the smoked Gouda potatoes. They are so cheesy and just melt away in your mouth?. The tacos themselves are also filled very generously. It is a little loud inside and busy most of the time, but despite that the food came out relatively quick and was still nice and hot?. This place sounds like it gets overhyped but I assure you that it deserves every ounce of it?.
