"Shorty’s place is the definition of country diner/kitchen! You walk in and feel like your at memaws house which automatically made me feel good. The witness was always taking care of us and asking if we needed anything. The fried okra was fabulous and very more delicious if you deep it in their home ranch. We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and chicken fried steak both deserve a chefs kiss! Would highly recommend ordering!! Lastly the fried Oreos, HEAVENLY!! If you haven’t stopped at Shorty’s you are definitely missing out."

Chicken fried steak the way it should be thin breading and thick meat. Grilled chicken was also good.

Great place for home cooking. I like when restaurants bring you a salad right when you order. Server was very friendly. Burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were crisp. Be careful sitting next to the restrooms. Stinky happens.

Great southern style cooking that really hit the spot. Comfort food at its finest. We ate the hamburger steak and frog legs. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Deep fried Oreos to finish the meal! Desiree was our waitress and she did a fantastic job!
