"You can taste the love that goes into this meal! Family owned for over 40 years, step into this café is like visiting your dear Grandma cuisine. What the decor lacks is made in the taste and quality of the food! I will agree with other reviewers .. the best tasting chicken fried steak...ever! Mashed and Fön fried taters were full of taste and comfort. The service was real and not rushed."

We had a pleasant experience at this restaurant with honest pricing and a unique atmosphere. Our breakfast was delicious, and we had fun looking at the pictures of huge snakes and alligators, as well as the thank you notes from children who had exhibited rabbits at the county fair. Don't forget to try the salsa with your eggs - it's a must!

This is my favorite restaurant in the world! Driving in from California next month for my yearly dose of Chicken Fried Steak, homemade enchiladas, amazing fries, and a large soda! This place is as serious as it gets, and there ain't nothing like it in Cali! I am so glad you are still open and still serving the best food around. It is a huge highlight of any visit to Texas!
