Oddly the cheese that usually coats the tops of the mushrooms was baked on the bottom not as if some had melted off but that none was ever put there just put at the base of the skillet. We come here for the great Southern-style food, especially for Brunch. Also, they have a great selection of cocktails along with a decent amount of beer and wine.

Eating at South Kitchen was wonderful. This was my third time eating here and every time South Kitchen never disappoints. Great service and very friendly server. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us often. I had the Brunch Salmon Egg Benedict. Everything was amazing and the best part was the Gouda grits. My husband has the Chicken and Waffles and the best part was the waffles. The pop of sugary crystal in the waffle was perfection. My daughter had the same thing and loved it.
