"Bangin! Everything was incredibly flavorful and tasted like it was made with love. If you want proper Latin food on the island this is the spot. Right when we walked in the owner/staff were very friendly and helpful. She gave us samples of everything we wanted to try to help us decide what we would like to order. The pork/rib combo was my favorite, the chicken was delicious as well. Our plates were massive combos of yellow rice beans, pork/rib and chicken with sweet plantains. I don’t know how I managed to almost finish everything but it was too good not to. We were also given their home made hot sauce which was spicyyy (for me at least) and packed with a punch of flavor. I couldn’t leave without trying their tres leches, and it did not disappoint. Sweet but not too sweet, with hints of spices coming through. The best part is that it was sitting in the delicious dessert soup so you can soak the cake in for more flavor. They also have a new Nutella tres leches I will have to try the next time I visit. And their Dominican sodas are very tasty and a bit less sweet than Jarritos."

"Frank's Steaks RVC I often help here if necessary. Sitting at the bar, outside or dining room are all a pleasant experience. I only have excellent things to say about food workers (most of them have been working here for 10 years). They are a big family and so welcoming to everyone. The owner Chris is an amazing person and so passionate about the business. It is also great and flexible to work with book parties, any size small or large. I admire how much he strives to support local businesses by offering various food drinks specialties from Long Island all NY. Most dressings and desserts are made in house cheesecake, apple cabbage, chocolate mousse, blueberries basket, oreo cheesecake, etc "

"Eating was excellent. the muddles were so big and plentiful I was surprised that there were so many muddles under the broth. the recommended thai muschel broth was excellent. also other breakfast items were delicious. waitstaff was attentive and not overwhelming. will be going back soon."

"KUMO GOT ME THROUGH BAR EXAM PREP! I had kumo multiple times a week while at home studying for the bar exam for two months straight and every time I was so happy because the food is delicious. I even decided that lunch special chicken terriakyi was what I’d have for the first day of the Bar Exam, so my dad picked it up and brought it to the hotel I was taking it in in Uniondale during my lunch break. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! Their lunch special are reasonable priced and they give a great amount! I’ve also been eating here since I went to VSN north and will keep continuing to do so!
