"This was the first restaurant we visited during our 16 day visit to Germany and though we are from Texas and expecting our host and hostess to take us to a German restaurant, we were very pleased they opted instead for their favorite restaurant in Siegen, El Rancho. The Texas decor made us feel at home. The salad bar had a wide variety of fresh items, the small filet was huge, so juicy and tender, and the wine wonderful! A very scrumptious meal for 2 weary and starving travelers just off an international flight."

Very delicious steak and I say go definitely with the house wine from chile salad was perfect and good service of course.

Good quality, but quite expensive... We enjoy the dinner on the terrasse with a glass of wine. All side dishes must be ordered...

Good ambient and excellent food.You would be hard pushed to find a better steak in the area. The service is friendly and prompt. I particularly enjoyed the draught Kellerbier.
