"My wife, my brother and sister-in-law visited Barth near Stalag Luft One, where my father was POW for nine months during World War II. We decided to go to Zingst for dinner and looked for a good seafood restaurant and reviewed Trip Advisor, which we always do when from the city. We stopped at Skipper who had good reviews and both indoor and outdoor seats. We came at 6:30 and went in and saw the greeting and said we had a party of 4. She said NO, in a very rude voice. She offered no other explanation or if seats were available. There were tables that we could see both inside and outside the restaurant. We were all shocked by their bloating. We were not sure whether the treatment we have received, because we speak English rather than German. In any case, it left a bad taste in our mouth and we went back to Barth, where we enjoy a very nice seafood dinner. I have written over 130 reviews on TripAdvisor and have rarely given a bad review of a restaurant, and certainly never given a review with only 1/5, but this restaurant is certainly appreciated this review."

"We were eating 2x there. At the first time, a young, very nice German woman was responsible for us. Since she was very friendly and the food was delicious, we wanted to go to dinner again. But at the 2nd time it was the whole opposite, already on the demand for three free places we were bluffed, we were to put ourselves at the other entrance at the snake, we did. When no more people were in front of us, we dared to ask for free places again, the female German service replied in a very bare sound that her colleague is responsible for this. Then another German waitress came and yelled at us, we shouldn't stand here, but there, a step further backwards. Then finally the colleague who was responsible for the placement came, and then said, even a little more than annoyed, that in the outside area nothing is free only inside. We didn't care, we just wanted to have dinner. He gave us a table in the restaurant and planted us that we can only enter the restaurant with a mask, but we had already had our masks all the time. At the table we were served by a young man of foreign origin very friendly and accommodating."

"Kein Firlefanz, sondern typisch italienische Küche. Vorweg ein einwandfreies Carpaccio und hinterher eine Pizza Salami. Auch sehr gut gemacht.Im Gegensatz zu den beiden anderen 'italienischen' Restaurants, die ich in Zingst bisher besucht habe, sogar von Italienern serviert! Die Pizza war absolut vergleichbar mit der vom schweizer 'Projekt' 'Pizza Garten', aber in der Trattoria gibt es dann eben auch Vorspeisen und eine Toilette...Kuriosum am Rande: in allen drei Restaurants (Martini, Pizza Garten, Trattoria) hatte ich die Pizza Salami mit Knoblauch als Extrabelag bestellt - serviert wurde sie überall ohne! Nächstes mal werde ich Knoblauch mitnehmen und mir selbst helfen.Trotzdem wirklich gut, Schulnote 2."

"If I had only more stars so well, I did not eat in my life and that really wants to be something!!! Have discovered the place (Gottseidank more randomly because our access road was closed to quarters. SUPER LECKER!!! On Tuesday I ate a fantastic Geisel Burger with Pommes (12.90 € and my friend Eisbein. She was just as enthusiastic about the home cooking: butter soft meat, super decorated sauerkraut and homemade potato puree with small pieces and butter in it a part for 2 hungry workers (11.90 €). The next day she tried the burger (see photo however with delicious potato columns. I ate pork medals (all tender with Rahm Champis (super tasted and (on my request with potato pü). On the last day she ate a chopped pan with Kidney beans and I a Mega Delicate Fileteak, roasted to the point (180g for 23,50 € and (also my wish with Rahm Champis and Pürree). No extra charge! I wrote the water in my mouth. That the restaurant does not exist with us, I would no longer fit through the door. Service 1 A, dog no problem, drinks cold and even the lemon in the coke was delicious. And the whole thing is now not a euphoric, unrealistic holiday perception, but fantastic reality!!! Going, tasting better is really not!!!"

"Since 1978 I visited the claws of the fishermen several times a year and was always very satisfied. Unfortunately, this has changed this year, which attracts the preise by 20%. But if the portions are halved and the potatoes are inevitable, then there is me to think. The chewing plate (former fish pot) was always my favorite, now the vegetables (green beans) and the salad are barely found on the plate. The roast potatoes were minimally hidden under the herring and consisted mainly of burned onions and very much fat. I hope the cook had a bad day. Luckily there are other restaurants in interest. If you increase the prices you should also change this on the website!!!"
