"Big D has emerged from the fall of a local restaurant and has surpassed it in almost every way. Before there were Big D’s, there were Faces and Big D himself was the chef of Faces. Finally, he left Faces and made a business for himself, one that was wildly successful, for a simple reason: he is really as good as a cook. The staff he has is amazing ALSO. Your menu is seemingly unlimited, and often if something is not on the menu, but they have the ingredients, they will make it for you. You're a kind. Big D’s and Cockeye BBQ bring a lot of pride to this northeast corner of Ohio. Your burgers aren't the same."

"Covered Bridge Inn A surprise. With the name I assumed that the Covered Bridge Inn would be a rustic place, land, meat and potatoes....not even nearby. It is a family-run Italian restaurant, complete with Italian speaking host (she also speaks English very well . There is a covered bridge a few blocks away and the decor is rustic, but the menu is usually Italian with a dose of lunch specialties and general American selection (Fries, Reuben's, etc.). You are located on the main strip in Newton Falls with angled street parking, but no meters. The plant is one of many pages of side shops, so it is narrow and deep. When you enter, pass boards with special day and wall decorations; then come quickly at the reception. Booths line both sides, seat four each, salad bar and tables are in the middle, with capacity around 60 80. The walls are rough sawed boards with bridges, Elvis pictures (real and Kiwanis banners). For dinner she ordered Veal Scaloppini with one side of spaghetti, I had roared scallops, and we both ordered the salad bar. The selection of appetizers was slim (cheeseries, fried cheese, etc.), so we skipped them overall. She loved the Veal Scaloppini and my scallops were as expected, but not great. The salad bar was a bit shy on toppings, but had a particularly good strawberry vinaigrette dressing we both enjoyed. She ordered a small container of dressing to go. The Covered Bridge Inn is located in Newton Falls, which is something out of the way for us, but the extra drive was worth it. Everyone was polite, the service prompt, and the facility was usually clean and tidy; we both recommend it."

"The staff at this restaurant are usually fantastic, and the food is good. However, I find that the buns are toasted too much for my liking, although they are not burned. I would love for them to bring back the potato cakes, as I really miss them!"

"We were in Roby Lee's banquet hall for special occasions, but had never been in the restaurant itself, until today! We started with fresh bread, butter, soup salad. All were good! Then our dinners, which were really good, did not come any complaints at all! Compliments to the cook! The Nabeby was impressed by his calf parmigiana, it was real calf, not a strangely processed stuff he got in other places. Sirloin Steak was my son's order, the picky always cut off the fat from his steak there was no fat cut off the whole thing! Mine was the white fish that was perfectly cooked! The atmosphere was relaxed cheerful, the staff seemed to be in their happy place! Our waitress was the best! She was up on her game! Cyndi, thank you for all the attention you gave us and all the other girls! You're great! After dinner there were these dough pins? almost like funnel cake with raspberry powder sugar on them, delicious! I think the only thing this would do better would be a drop of chocolate, but that's just me, I really like chocolate doubtless we'll be back soon!!"

"I recently dined at Mi Amigo and I have to say it is without a doubt the best Mexican restaurant around. The staff was fantastic and the owner even came out to ensure everything was to our liking. We also tried the dessert, Chimi Cheesecake - a deep fried cheesecake served with a side of ice cream. It was absolutely incredible, words cannot even describe how delicious it was."
