"The counter server was friendly and efficient with her job responsibilities and customer service. A friend of mine treated me to lunch and we are both visitors to Madison. I had never known of Taco John restaurants before. Luckily lunch was on my friend. I felt that for what little food I got for $16 was a bit pricey. My 3 little taco/burritos did include a large cup of tater tots though. We practically had the dining area to ourselves. It was very clean. The food was alright. Nothing spectacular and like I said small portion of the main and a bit pricey. I actually left feeling hungry. Overall it was not a bad experience. Perhaps Madison has higher prices than Sheboygan. I wouldn't go out...

I always love ...and the staff is great ..and the place stays clean ..which is difficult in a taco place!!

They've changed the sauces , the sombrero guy is gone, food and atmosphere of restaurant as bland as others now. I am so sad. Couldn't finish tacos, weird sauce used in the beef too , awful tasting.

Two meals cost over 26$ 's, which I get there has been a lot of inflation but unfortunately the quality has went way down. Lettuce was not fresh tasting and the meat was hard to find. Back years ago when Joe and Rita owned this place, the product was always so fresh and blew their competitors away. Now your competitors have pulled ahead. BTW the Ole 's basically tasted like plain potatoes with no seasoning. I filled out the online survey and was contacted, they said they were going to send me some compensation coupons but never did. I will unfortunately not be stopping by in the future. Really too bad, Taco Johns has been such a treat over the last 20 years. Really too bad.
