I love the Roast-Rindsandwich and French Pommes. The fries are seasoned and it is very hard to eat them. The portions are also generous. There's a good beer to wash everything. If you are in dark beers, I recommend the Kalamazoo Stout.

Great place for a great meal! You come a while ago and you just can't beat the menu choices and prices. Two thumbs up! The owners are super and very personal come to meet the customers and welcome. The waiter rocks and everyone there feels like home.

Kelly was very happy to serve Tap House virgins today. Excellent food, excellent service, friendly environment. Breakfast specialities are outside the chain. All above, PLUS sections are generous and prices are reasonable. We are coming back!!! Thank you. Kelly!

"I love Tate's place. From endless medium roasted coffee to the small masons with ice water, Tate makes me feel that I can breathe deep and enjoy my morning meal and lunch (especially during a nice, warm day on the terrace). The food is given in generous portion sizes and is offered with sinful delicious waffleries or mixed fresh fruits. My personal favorite is the chicken avocado sandwich with a side of fresh fruit. Hunger? Get an omelette, every omelette. My friend has one and it took half of her plate! I believe there is a reason why there may occasionally be a waiting time to sit in this small irrigation hole of portage. There are these home travel from home vibe with excellent food and coffee. Sure to say I'm coming back."

"Found this hidden gem of a Chinese Restaurant. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was very polite. As an over the road truck driver finding a good restaurant to eat in is difficult most of the time. The is a wonderful place to dine at."

"Great new addition to the Miller Beach district in Gary! My wife and I stopped here for dinner before attending an event at the Marshall J. Gardner Center for the Arts (only 2 blocks away). Tequila and Tacos were delicious! These are pretty good tacos. I had a vegetable taco and a shrimp taco. My wife had a shrimp taco and a chicken taco. The shrimps were the hands down our favorite! So good with an excellent mango cutney upstairs. We started with chips and Guac and I also added one side of Zilantro-Calc rice to my Tacos. Good beer selection and of course Tequila and Margaritas! This is our new way to Miller Beach before events. And note that Tequilas and Tacos are next to the 18th Street Brewing. We had an event to go, but eating here and drinking there would also be a worthy journey."

"I often visited pre-pandemic and the whole place had a mood that you wanted to hang only after work, school, the beach, etc. Great food, good atmosphere and back when the terrace was open, you can just sit and enjoy the breeze... and the loud annoying Zughorn, but hey, you can not always get what you want. About a month ago, I went back for the first time in three years. I ordered to go, but it was STILL the same; great food, good atmosphere and nice workers. I LOVE THIS PLACE...lol!!!"

"that's sucked. I never said that about any business. we sat there for 45 minutes and then heard waitress say they never made our food. Really? my daughter had an salat and they took it out. also has a order of cheesebread. we just asked for our exam, and yes, we had to. really disappointed. the first time there will never go back. the business was dead too."
