"Ok, so first off...Taxco is a city in Mexico... They did not misspell or get creative with the word Taco lol. Listen... This is traditional Mexican food, which I am a lover. Their prices are pre-inflation, YOU HEAR ME! I am talking $15 46oz Monster Margarita...There where no typos... $4-$20 entrees and appies... Like come on! $60 for two meals and a 46oz Monster ... This is one of my favorite places to wait out traffic. Now every time I go, their are always screaming babies or out of control children... But eh, that just means the place is family friendly and offers alcohol to help tune them out lol. This is a nice little gem packed with tradition."

Taxco. A Buckhead tradition. I have gone there for the last 30 years. What I can count on is their enjoyable food, a wonderful group of servers and the friendly ambience. Everyone does their best!

Came here yesterday for lunch. Our server was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. The portions are huge, the drinks are strong/ tasty, the prices are so cheap! Will be in our rotation for sure!

Is Taxco on the level of top end restaurants in the city? No. But that's not why you come here. Taxco is your go to local tex mex spot with great deals. Chips and salsa are great, queso's are great, diverse Mexican beer menu, full assortment of Tex Mex entrees, and the soup is fantastic. Where it really shines is the value. literally the only Mexican place you can get in and out of under $25 for two these days. Also, the cheat code is weekend lunch special! No one does lunch specials anymore but you know who does? Taxco. Again, it's not going to blow your mind but for the value it can't be beat in tex mex.

"Fabulous meal last night at AG. The 8oz filet mignon was cooked absolutely perfectly medium, and I'm very picky about that. Wonderful flavor and texture. The Moet Chandon rose champagne was perfectly crisp and dry, with a little raspberry zing. Roasted Brussels sprouts were so tasty crispy with a touch of balsamic sweetness. Raw oyster starter was wonderful, nice presentation, and the server was nice enough to pull just a half dozen for me rather than all 12. Peach cobbler w/ice cream was a nice finish, though a little heavy for me. I got the special coffee which is more suited to 2 people, but the taste was superbly rich and deep. Service is always exceptional there very attentive without being intrusive. The only thing I missed was the pre Covid jazz trio. Totally understandable."

The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly and we just loved Alex, our bartender extraordinaire. "I had a build your own hotdog at Red's, and it was delightful! They sent out the various toppings in individual ramekins, so one could choose how much of each item to use, and I appreciate being able to self determine my ratio of chili to onions to mustard. Also, they had myriad non-alcoholic beverage options, which made meeting friends there for a meal a lot easier for someone who doesn't drink alcohol. Red's was a very relaxing, warm environment, and I'll definitely be going back.Dietary restrictions: Red's did not mind omitting ingredients from my order to accommodate dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: There was a changing table in a non gendered restroom, so any parent could easily access it. The lawn seating area was well suited to letting kiddos move freely without irking other tables as well."

"We had a delightful experience visiting this location with a group of seven for a birthday celebration. The service exceeded our expectations, both at the bar and our dining table. The food was not only delicious but also exceptionally fresh. The Mushroom Oyster Crimini hummus stole the show as our favorite appetizer, closely followed by the tasty Corn Ribs. Every kabob was cooked to perfection, and the basmati rice, especially the herb rice, was well-seasoned. The Sea Bass was a highlight as well. While the dessert menu is somewhat limited for those looking for cakes or pies, we understood that it might not complement the restaurant's main menu. The ambiance was good, though not outstanding. The tables were a bit closely packed together, and our round table for seven felt small. It would have been better to have two four-tops placed together for our group. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't busy, and there was plenty of room. It seemed like all the dining customers were placed closely together in the same area, making it appear more crowded than it actually was. Despite these minor observations, everyone in our group loves RUMI's, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. We look forward to visiting again"
