"I visited this restaurant for the first time in 2016. Our dining experience created a lasting memory. Today I had dinner here once again and it was excellent. Great food, very well prepared, paired with fantastic wines. We don't live in the area, but we're planning to revisit sooner than last time. Highly recommended!"

Tasteful fresh well prepared food. We had fresh seasonal white asparagus. Perfectly Cooked. Served with schnitzel. The building is centuries old. Fascinating to eat in such a place.

"Me and my most important others are here regularly and for many years. It is a small place so you can sit in a private dining room. There is always a wide selection of daily specialties on a large chalkboard as you come. I usually go for fish because it is always fresh and well prepared. My partner is vegetarian and goes for the wide range of pastas. We both would only go for the basket of house-made rolls and garlic butter! I recommend very reservations as there are only 12 tables and this place is popular among locals."

"we had expected that the personal in a restaurant in a city surrounded by weinbergs, in the position to offer a advice about wein in the menu. when we asked the staff to recommend, she only said that they served red, white and rose. we also noticed that they had napa valley wein on the menu. in most napa valley restaurants they offer napa valley wein, not mosel reisling. because we don't know much about the German wein, we asked for pils instead. we were not asked if we wanted big or small glasses, but we thought we were gonna get the big glasses. as it turned out, we were wrong and we have very small glasses. we waited 50 minutes for our meal. when it came, it was nice and hot, but amazing. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is hungry, does not speak German and would like to taste the wine of the region."

"I tried the beef carpaccio and the quatro stationing pizza. The food was quite good. Pizza crust could be thinner. However the waiting was way too long. I waited more than to get my appetizer and ever longer for my drink. They need to...improve that part"

"Recently visited, but VERY disappointed with the restaurant service. The food was excellent don’t get me wrong. But having to wait close to two hours for your meal is just ridiculous. Granted, excellent food takes time, but two hours; NO! We were not the only...people waiting for so long. Unfortunately, there were others who waited longer than we had to."
