"Wonderful little restaurant. We had sushi for the main course our favorite roles so far are the Baked Salmon Roll, Baked Yellowtail Roll and Sandpoint Roll, although we were not disappointed in the other roles. We had the fried cheesecake for dessert that was delicious! Really rich, but perfect when divided. We started with Crab Rangoons, and that was just okay.. We also had a Kona golden ale, which we had only in bottles so far, and they have much better on draft. I'd say 4 stars on the food, and 5. Star for service. It was packed so that you should tell you about the quality, people love to go here. I love getting Sushi personally. You have a house-sushi cook that makes a phenomenal job. I was disappointed when I said they had no sushi because other people around me got sushi for the next hour. I don't take it personally, but would recommend more than one favorite incase of supply problems. But unlike that, I would go alone or on a date or with a group.

I'm here twice and the food here is excellent. You have a lot of different types of dishes and variations of any style. If they have sushi available, it is very good. I personally recommend the Alaskan Roll; it is unique and tastes very fresh and bright. Every time I'm here, the service was different. The first time they lost one of the dishes and we had to wait a long time. The second time they were fast, very friendly and helpful, so I think the first time was a fuke, and if you rush the service before dinner is very fast. This is a great contrast to all other restaurants in Sandpoint.
