"Valdez was our first destination in planning our trip to Alaska and it was not dissapoint. Our Air Bnb host recommended this place for dinner and it lived until the hype. The view was fantastic, the service of Daniel was exceptional, he was genuine and attentive without being over the top. We had the halibut and chips that grilled me, and it was perfect. My husband liked his so much he ordered a second basket (this time crowned) for dessert instead of the ube cake I ordered. Great place."

Had the salmon. Delicious! Salmon cooks almost perfectly, only slightly dry at the edges. The place is busy all the time, but still friendly comfortable. The view of the mountain is excellent.

This is a great restaurant with many Asian/Western dishes. They have ube cakes and other desserts. We ordered two root beer boats and it had ice in it. Not sure why they added ice. We could come to dinner to try other dishes if we're not too tired of kayaking tomorrow.
