"We had a great first-time experience eating pastrami chili cheese fries at The Hat. I was full after 8 bites, and the three of us could only finish two-thirds of it. Taste wise, the fries and chili could use a little more salt, in my opinion. But overall, it's just a big messy combination of carb and calorie unfriendly goodness. Pastrami sandwich was great, loads of Pastrami Location in Temple City was almost deserted when we arrived at 2 pm on a Sunday afternoon. Got busier afterward."

The prices were somewhat reasonable. Ordered a pastrami burger, which was massive; definitely more than enough for 2 people. Also had chili cheese fries which were smothered and tasty. Would go again.

Ordered two pastrami dips and an order of fries. One of the pastrami sandwiches had been cut 3/4 rather than half way. Which tells me that they did not possess any math skills whatsoever. The other sandwich wasn’t even cut at all! I was not given a receipt during the transaction.

I really enjoy the hot pastrami but I have been noticing that it 's hit miss, sometimes the sandwich is PERFECT ! reminds me of Philippe in L.A. other times the pastrami is like McDonalds or Subway, basic. Sometimes the large serving of french fries is PERFECT other times, barely warm, not fresh. I also noticed with what appears to be a full staff the wait time in the drive thru is Ridiculous.
