"I bicycle to Mystic once a year and, for the past few years, have always looked forward to ending one of my nights at Sift. I 've had some phenomenal baked goods in my life, so I 'm not going to go overboard and say that Sift is the best bakery I 've ever been to; however, I WILL say that it 's right up there with the best. Aside from the brownies and other pastries, it 's the VIBE of Sift that accounts for about 80% of its awesomeness. Located just off Rt. 1 in downtown Mystic, within a short walk of some really good restaurants, it has a wraparound porch with outdoor seating that 's ideal for people watching. At certain times of the day, the bells of a nearby church can almost lull you to sleep while you 're sipping your coffee. The line at Sift can be long, and in my experience, they often run out of stuff well before closing time, but it should be noted that my experience is pretty much limited to Sunday and Monday nights. Overall, I highly recommend Sift to all Mystic visitors."

"Great Service. Nice selection on menu. Fish tacos here are delish! Went this night for pasta night. I had the Chicken Parmigiana. It was really good. I got a nice size piece of chicken, smothered in cheese. Sauce was a little on the sweeter side than I like. But I enjoyed it. Pasta night $12, worth it."

"We did the 5 course tasting menu which we had first sampled a year ago. Once again, it met our high expectations. Each course (and there were several extras thrown in) was unique and delicious. A special shout out to the chef's wife (I don't know her name) who is the sommelier. The wine pairing was extraordinary. My wife and I have visited most of the world's great wine regions and we manage to stumble into small operations, often with long family traditions, that offer great, yet reasonably priced wines. We don't do $300 bottles. The wine pairing offered a selection of little known wines, well matched to each course. They were all wines you will never, ever find yourself. Simply a wonderful, memorable addition to the overall experience. Our server, who repeated his excellent work last year, was unbelievably knowledgeable about each presentation and the wine."

"Found this Mystic gem through Yelp stopped by for breakfast with my family! For a Friday morning, we waited around 20 minutes to be seated. The view near the restaurant was beautiful, so the 20 minute wait flew by! Service here is top notch everyone is super friendly kind. We each ordered a different version of their famous eggs benedict, and each one was consistent in quality and delicious! I ordered the asparagus and crab eggs benny, and I was quite surprised by the amount of crab meat they put in. I only wish that each order came with either a bit of the home fries or maybe a side salad something to provide a bit of contrast every so often. We did end up ordering the home fries as a side, they were really good! The blueberry buttermilk pancakes here are also a good option they were so fluffy! Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area!"
