"Got to experience this little gem in the middle of my afternoon. First the music ? Yesss! Snagged a few songs for my playlist. Been needing some new vibes. Service was so nice! I had to change plans for to go instead and very accommodating. Got nachos and boom whatever that cheese. So so good and different and of course the chicken perfect. I agree lettuce on my nachos was not what I was used to but I think it is probably an authentic thing. Got some chicken tenders and so much better than I was expecting! It was so good. One plea Mama Joyce in your kitchen Can you please find a way to make coconut tenders ? lol. Overall a wonderful experience."

I enjoy my two visits and plan to revisit every other Thursday. I love Poetry nights. Fun, silly hosts, clean environment, and great vibes.

Overall, food was pretty good, service was friendly but felt a little rushed. Atmosphere started off fun but got very quiet all of a sudden.Food: 4/5

10 out of 10 I would highly recommend this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, wonderful service and the food was great. Oh, and the rum punch snuck up on me lol. I absolutely enjoyed everything!Food: 4/5

"We came to Dallas for a game at the stadium. We love to travel and both are foodie. Alex did a phenomenal job taking care of us. Staff was super nice and attentive. "Abraham, I didn’t score you any less, but I wanted to alert you to an uncomfortable situation my first ever while dining at Salum. I was the first patron in the restaurant at and a very kind server recognized me and asked where I wanted to sit. I didn’t have a preference, so he suggested the middle table closest to the kitchen. I remarked that it used to be my favorite table when the kitchen was “open to the diners.” I had already been seated when another server yells from the front door, “he can’t sit there! It’s reserved!” There was nothing marking that table as reserved and the first server seemed a bit embarrassed. Second server yelled “he just called and reserved it!” I acted like it was no big deal, chose another table, but after eating, paying, and walking out, that table was still empty. I just thought that was beneath the quality service I have always received at Salum. Thanks for listening. Billy"

"My husband and I booked last minute and ended up sitting at the bar, but our service was still spectacular. Our waitress Alli was attentive, sweet and able to give amazing recommendations! Even the staff that only delivered our food/ drinks were personable and incredibly accommodating. Food is one thing but service is what keeps you coming back."
