"We were visiting Vidalia and were looking forward to having breakfast at this local establishment. There were 6 in our party (including my 93 year old mother). We were told that we would have to wait while our table was prepared and since there was limited room inside, we moved to a couple of outside benches. After 45 minutes I went into the cafe to ensure we had not been forgotten since at least 10 parties of 2 to 3 people had been seated after we had been told to wait. The waitress loudly said, “Baby, does it look like we have a table for a party of 6?”. Needless to say, we left. Great breakfast and lunch food! Staff is always friendly.Kid-friendliness: Several meal options. Willing to adjust to preferences.

When it comes to quality breakfast and lunch, Vidalia is something of a Death Valley. Kountry Kafe as one of the very few exceptions. Clean, well, attended by a talented waitstaff, and featuring a menu that walks a fine tight rope between quantity of offerings and quality presentations, this is a pleasant exception to the short staffed, half cleaned breakfast lunch options in the area. You can't go wrong with the pancakes, waffles, and they make a pretty darn fine omelette. All of the waitstaff is great, but ask for Heather, she is exceptional.
