"On a frigid Sunday in February, around a full house of boisterous brunch-goers, I went to The Manor for possibly the final time before they shut their doors at end of March. Cozy but pretty, great window view onto 125 St, I had the Beef Benedict (unctuous filling) and partner had the Spaetzle Hash (unique tasty). With coffee the bill was $47, service friendly and quick. With limited brunch options in the DT core, this classic tucked in behind around Urban Diner (the owners' focus) was a great choice, and reminded me how much I'd enjoyed the space in years past, especially on the summer patio. Thx for the memories, Manor!"

Manor is my favourite restaurant, and feeling very sad knowing they are closing in March! It was areal neighborhood gem! The patio is one of the best ones in the city! Hopefully, whoever bought it will want to continue tradition.............

We were sad to hear that The Manor Bistro was closing it's doors, as we have had many lovely dinners there over the span of 29 years. We have never had a bad meal there either. Yet when we went for my husband's birthday on March 17, he ate his meal and unfortunately got very sick after eating the burger. Sad to remember our final dinner there on that note...

The Manor Casual Bistro is an adorable, quiet little venue! The food was delicious, it wasn't busy which was nice for having a conversation. The service was awful; the server disappeared once the food was dropped off; we weren't offered dessert (and watched her offer it to the other tables around us); we had to flag her down to get the bill (but continued to walk past us, ignoring us). If I was to go back, I would ensure I wasn't served by the same lady again.
