Price was good for food, but the restaurant is really old and worn. The table and benches had deep, deep holes in them and everything looked like it came out of trash dumpsters. The menus are typed papers that have been copied so many times they are too fuzzy to read. We ordered three different items and was told either they no longer carry the items or are out of it. Even side items. All side items were out of stock except fries, which tasted like cooked mush. I do not know where the photos on Yelp were taken but they weren't from this diner. Food is really good, in general, although the rice portion is very small with main courses even when you order double rice i enjoy the Baja Chicken Chimi. I had breakfast there a few weeks ago and ordered the Texas French toast- it was regular thin bread insteadso be sure to find out if the texas toast is in stock and what the cook will use if you want what’s described in menu. The bacon is always really delicious as is the coffee. It would be helpful if there was an official website for this establishment so you could look at most recent menus instead of 5 year old pictures from guests.
