"Delightful surprise! We were going through Hastings on my 65th birthday and decided to try out a restaurant in town. Right down by the river is this restaurant. Service was very pleasant, efficient, and timely. I like ribs and I decided to take the risk. Was I ever delighted! The 1/2 rack was quite generous maybe 12 bones of very meaty, non fatty ribs! It came with bbq sauce on the side but honestly the ribs didn’t need much “doctoring up”. They were delicious! My wife ordered the walleye. Very tasty, crispy Parmesan coating. We topped everything off with the chocolate lava cake. Perfect"

This place is amazing! The chicken fingers are one of the best I've ever had the fries were a 11/10! Our sever was super friendly and even inganged in a small conversation with us about breaking bad. 10/10 would 100% recommend!

Had dinner at our favorite place in hastings! Of course we had to order the special, the chicken marsala and our normal favorite the Cajon chicken pasta! Can't go wrong with the Onion! Definitely worth stopping in, the chef's really know what they are doing! Peferct down to the last bite!

MARGO is a sharp, friendly, sincere, intelligent employee of the Onion Grille! It was a treat to have her as our server. She helped make the atmosphere. The food was very good. I did order my steak medium and got it very rare but I couldn't complain. We were having a great time with friends.
