"We visited the Boyce Thompson Arboretum today and looked for a good place to stop for a late lunch. Saw The Prospector was open and it looked to be on the golf course so we headed that way. It's a small place with maybe 8 tables inside and had a good size, dog friendly patio that overlooks the greens. Our server Cassandra, was fantastic, especially when it was myself, a girlfriend, and our two daughters. I was nervous when I saw most of the people eating were golfers and I didn't want to disrupt the place with our kiddos but everyone was great. Pleasant and attentive service. Delicious food for a reasonable price. Bright and airy with three walls of windows, comfortable seating with views of golf course.
