"I recently tried the filled Flounder at this restaurant, and it was one of the best I've ever had. The filled shells, New England chowder, and rocket fuel were also delicious. As a seafood lover, I have high standards, but I was not disappointed. It was a nostalgic experience for me, as I haven't been back since I was a young teenager when the original 86 East Bayview was still around. It's nice to be back!"

the best part is, but I had the worst frozen margarita of my life here. it tasted disgusting and there were bugs or leaves in my drink.

great small beach bar. Live music, good eating, attached to an ice-cream. they can move up directly with their jet ski park and drive to lunch

Overall, I enjoyed the view, live music, and drinks at this restaurant, but the food was just average considering the high prices. Everything on Fire Island tends to be expensive. The battered Captain's platter was decent, but I was hoping for more from such a popular spot. I would return for the music and drinks, but I might skip dinner next time. The coal-roasted oysters are a must-try as a light snack.
