We stopped here for lunch and the place definitely has a small town charm. There is a great playground for children with many toys and books. The menu is clearly marked with things that can be made vegan (or gluten-free). My toddler loved the vegan cheese quesadillas and homemade apple sauce, and my husband liked the vegan burger. I had the veggie reuben with vegan cheese. Unfortunately, the dressing was not vegan, so the sandwich was a bit simple. It probably wouldn't order again. What a find! This ice salon and café has more vegetarian options than many restaurants near Kalamazoo. Your menu clearly reveals what can be made vegan and gluten-free. They also have an allergy list for any dish and ice cream taste. It is a great place to bring both omnivores and vegans. I had a veggie quesadilla with a gluten-free tortilla. It was average in taste and portion size. They have 4 flavors of so delicious ice cream that I had brought with Oreos into a milkshake. The mini size is perfect! My friend just told me about this restaurant, which is randomly an hour away from my home. We often travel this direction for football matches, so now I have a place I want to stop at A LOT!
